Carolina Lara is a sugar artist with a home-based business in Pennsburg, PA, in the North East area of Pennsylvania. Carolina specializes in custom, novelty, as well as specialty cakes. She started cake decorating when her friend's daughter's birthday came up and she decided to give her the cake as a gift. Ever since, Carolina has used cake decorating as a creative outlet. With previous experience in the Fashion Design industry and many years of Event Coordinating she knew exactly how to cater to her customer's requests by recognizing how important it was to have unforgettable memories for special occasions. As a stay at home mom, she decided that this could be the beginning of a new career and went on from there. She has been creating cakes for special occasions ever since, which has led to many commissions and many satisfied customers. The cakes are usually sculptured Artisan Cakes as a base with a rolled fondant covering, but she also makes beautiful wedding and celebration cakes with delicious flavors and fillings, either modern or traditional, with some designs adorned with life-like flowers and figurines made from sugar. |
